The RADIOLOGIST and MEDICAL ILLUSTRATOR…
台灣土生土長「放射科醫師」,畢業於台中中國醫藥大學醫學系,畢業後於台大醫院影像醫學部接受完整放射科住院醫師訓練,成為小兒介入及放射診斷科主治醫師。因長年從事醫學視覺相關工作,培養出對醫學視覺化的興趣,進而遠赴美國約翰.霍普金斯醫學院醫用藝術學系攻讀生物醫學視覺化碩士學位,追求最嚴謹的「醫學繪圖師」訓練;並於歸國後於2024年在台大醫院成立「台大醫學視覺化中心」。
Monal is a board-certified diagnostic and interventional radiologist from Taiwan with a specialization in pediatric radiology. After obtaining her M.D. from China Medical University in Taichung, Taiwan in 2014, she completed her residency in radiology at the National Taiwan University Hospital (NTUH). Since 2019, she has served as a faculty member and pediatric interventional radiologist in NTUH’s Medical Imaging Department. Between 2022 and 2024, Monal furthered her education at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Art as Applied to Medicine Department, earning a Master of Arts degree to become a professional medical illustrator. She is also the founder of NTUH Medical Visualization Center since 2024. Leveraging her medical and visual expertise, Monal excels in 3D modeling and creating effective medical illustrations.
